The True North
HL adventures takes you on an adventure to the north highlands in a three day excursion on Super Jeeps.
Day 1
We start by flying from Reykjavik to Egilstaðir, a little town in the north, where modified jeeps will be waiting for us. We waist no time and head straight to Vatnajökull glacier as there in no reason to let the largest glacier in Iceland wait. We will drive to mt. Snæfell, over Brúarjökul glacier and we set a course to Mt. Kverkfjöll.
There we will hike in the unique hot spring aria that has melted down through the glacier and made extraordinary ice cave. If the mountain allows us we will drive down the hills of Mt. Kverkfjöll we enjoy an little brake on warm river named Volga or slightly warm.
There are no word to portray the feeling of lying in the warm river in the middle of the highland relaxing after extraordinary day. after this adventure we will head to our mountain oasis where we will stay over night
Day 2 - A sneak peek at Hell
Mt. Askja in Dyngjufjöll is exquisite location where the calm that you can only find in the mountains and the unbelievable view will both excite and relax at the same time.

Day 3 - Where nature meets man
Today we go through the land of outlaws to Hvannalindir springs and from there to Kverkárlón lagoon. At this point we leave the exceptional natural marvels behind us and head to Hálslón lagoon and then to Kárahnjúka dam, the biggest dam in Iceland. we take look at the grand structure before we head back to the town of Egilsstaðir to catch the flight back to
