“The Iceman” Sigurður Pétursson captain is well known as a legend in Greenland as he was world known after he had killed a shark with only his hands. Siggi as he is normally referred to gives a tour of the little town of Kulusuk and give a unique inside to the history and live of the locals.
It is fun to watch Siggi at work as the local have a tremendous amount of respect for him and children love this legend and flock to him when he arrives.

Greenland:

Greenland is the worlds largest island and about 81% of it's ground is covered by glaciers.
The magical landscape in Greenland is unlike anything you will ever see.
Nowhere else in the world has the man settled in more harsh location.
Greenland hosts the biggest national park in the world, which covers around 972.000 km².
Small and colourful villages, beautiful sunsets which cast long shadows over the ice covered fjords and breathtaking icebergs.

Kulusuk:

Kulusuk habitats 350 people and is on Kulusuk island in Ammassalik community in East-Greenland.
The village has a small harbor, chirch and some shopping with sealskin and other homemade products.
Hotel Kulusuk is located in 30 minutes walking distance from the airport
The Hotel is in beautiful landscapes and has very good views.
