Háskólabíó is the largest conference and cultural centre in Iceland and has provided a choice setting for many of the most important industry and professional conferences and events in the country. It houses the largest auditorium in Iceland with a seating capacity for 997 persons and four other auditoria seating 326, 226, 159 and 105. All the auditoria are specially designed for meetings and conferences with state-of-the-art sound system and integrated facilities for simultaneous translations.
The 1000 m˛ lobby is an ideal exhibition area where promotional 
materials can easily be set up. Light meals and refreshments can be provided on site.
